Name: Adrian Caceres
Position: Left Wing
Date of Birth: 10 January 1982
Place of Birth: Buenos Aires
Adrian signed for the Glovers from Australian side Perth Glory, in the summer of 2004 just after his old side had won the Australian Championship in the previous season.
After a childhood spent growing up in Australia, the Argentinian came over to England and came through the ranks at Southampton, scoring well for the club at Youth and Reserve level after signing from Perth Glory in September 2000 for a fee of 25K. However, he made just one Premiership appearance for the Saints against Charlton Athletic when he was aged just 19. Loan spells at Brentford in September 2001 and Hull City in March 2002 followed and after a change of management in Hampshire, Adrian made the decision to return to Australia and Perth Glory.
Despite showing some early promise for the Glovers, including scoring on his debut at Bury in August 2004, Adrian eventually found his left-wing place harder and harder to hold down. He made his final appearance for the club as a rather anonymous substitute at Macclesfield Town on February 5th 2005 and shortly afterwards his short spell at Huish Park came to an end as his contract was severed by mutual agreement.
Since leaving Yeovil, Adrian has seen service with Aldershot in the Nationwide Conference National Division, playing six times for them between February 26th 2005 and March 24th 2005, before he signed for Wycombe Wanderers in Coca Cola League Two. Unfortunately he failed to settle at Adams Park, making just one start and two substitute appearances meaning that by the time Wanderers came up against Yeovil in the league campaign, Caceres was well out of favour and did not feature in his return to Huish Park. Upon the end of the 2004/05 season, Adrian departed Wycombe and is believed to have returned to Australia.
