After the home meeting with Torquay United ended in a 0-0 stalemate a month ago, Yeovil Town U18s travelled to Devon for the reverse fixture on Saturday, and it was a point apiece once more. At least there was a bit more goalmouth action on this occasion, with the back of the net hit four times.
Final score: Torquay United U18 2 Yeovil Town U18 2
With two more fixtures remaining - next up is Cheltenham Town at Somerton Sports Ground, Saturday 18th April, kick-off 11.00 a.m. - the Glovers currently lie in sixth place in the Youth Alliance South West Conference. They are not going to finish worse than that as no one below can now catch them, but the best they can realistically hope for is fifth. AFC Bournemouth, also with two games left, currently occupy that spot one point ahead of Yeovil. The two teams will meet in the final match of the campaign on 25th April.
