Neither club's official site explicitly confirms it, but the PTV back-end database that runs both clubs' official sites has set a date the Carling Cup Second Round match at the Riverside Stadium. The PTV database states that the match against Middlesbrough will be played on Wednesday 27th August, with a 8.00p.m. kick-off. We'll try and absolutely confirm this soon.
