17 February 2007 : Fun At Whaddon Road?
Given our record away to Cheltenham Town, we last won at Whaddon Road in 1978, we don't recall having much fun there, but The Robins have designated the meeting on Saturday 10th March their second Family Fun Day of the season.

Sponsored by the Chelsea Building Society and the Supporters Trust the event will feature face painters, music and performers including the International Allstarzz Dance Team. Events start an hour before the 3.00 p.m. kick-off, at 2.00 p.m.

The club's commercial and marketing manager, Marie Carter said :

The first Fun Day was a real success. Tickets are selling well and we're ahead of the number sold at the same time in advance last year.

Cheltenham calculated that first Fun Day added 600 on what they would have normally expected to the gate.

As one of the Football League's allowable 'home only' promotions the bad news is that the accompanying reduction in ticket prices for family groups is not available to away supporters.

Ticketing information for the Cheltenham match can be found here (8th February). A reminder that it's sales to Season Ticket holders only up until 5.00 p.m. on Friday 23rd February, then general sale from Saturday 24th February.
