Yeovil Town Chairman John Fry has for the second time this week denied making any contact with former Queens Park Rangers manager Ian Holloway. Fry made the same remarks to BBC Radio Bristol earlier this week claiming that he had not spoken to the 43 year old in around two years.
Some of Fry's quotes were reused on the BBC Sport website implying that the Glovers were singling him out to become their new manager, but the Yeovil Chairman has told the Western Daily Press that those quotes were taken out of context - something that the full radio transcript confirms.
Fry told the paper today: "He is the sort of person we want - a battler and a winner. But we have not had contact with him. We are looking for someone with pedigree - a Championship or League One manager rather than League Two or the Conference. But we can't rule anyone out."
