The Yeovil Town Veterans squad for next Tuesday's match against Yeovil Police & Ambulance Service has been announced by Terry Cotton. It is hoped that the following players will be on display at Westland Sports FC in Alvington:
Len Bond, Stuart Housley, Rob Cousins, Paul Thorpe, Tony Pounder, Kevin Hodges, Steve Thompson, Dean Birkby, Gerry Pearson, Terry Cotton, Micky Spencer, Paul Charles, Bob Russell, Kevin Leigh.
Dick Plumb is also hoping to make a brief appearance - or is it that he is hoping that his appearance will be a brief one? He is currently hunting for a pair of boots to wear for the occasion.
Given that four of the current Glovers coaching staff - manager Steve Thompson, assistant Kevin Hodges, Youth team boss Stuart Housley and goalkeeping coach Len Bond - are planning to turn out for the side, it would no doubt be good to see some Yeovil Town fans out there to heckle support the side for the evening. Kick-off is 6.30pm.
