Yeovil Town have chosen their starting line-up for this afternoon's League Two match against Newport County at Rodney Parade. The match sees the Glovers name five changes compared to the team that played against Portsmouth last weekend.
The major change sees first choice goalkeeper Artur Krysiak ruled out through injury. His place is taken by Jonny Maddison, who makes his first Football League start, having played six times in the EFL Trophy earlier this season. Nathan Smith returns to the side, displacing Bevis Mugabi and taking the captain's armband back.
Captain Ryan Dickson sat out last week with an ankle injury, but he comes back in place of Tom James. Up front Omar Sowumni is back, with Tom Eaves sitting on the bench. Meanwhile Otis Khan comes in for Brandon Goodship.
Shayon Harrison returns from illness, but only gets as far as the bench. AFC Bournemouth loanee Ben Whitfield serves the second game in a three match suspension.
Football League rules mean the club has to leave out two of its loan players. Swansea City attacker Owain Jones and Milton Keynes Dons winger Kabongo Tshimanga are once again the unlucky pair. Other absentees due to injuries include Darren Ward (swollen knee). Midfielder Joe Lea is on loan with Gosport Borough. Midfielder Ollie Bassett doesn't make the teamsheet.
The team is as follows (with a warning that this may or may not be the correct formation given recent matches!)
12. Johnny Maddison
6. Alex Lacey 16. Matt Butcher 3. Nathan Smith (Capt)
2. Liam Shephard 7. Kevin Dawson 4. Matt Dolan 11. Ryan Dickson
13. Francois Zoko 17. Omar Sowunmi 10. Otis Khan
Substitutes: 6. Bevis Mugabi 8. Alex Lawless 9. Tom Eaves 19. Brandon Goodship 31. Jean-Louis Akpa Akpro 32. Tom James 39. Shayon Harrison
