Yeovil Town's on loan wide man Ryan Hedges is to return to Swansea City for a temporary period, whilst he gets rehabilitation on his ankle injury. The 21 year old has told BBC Somerset tonight that he has sprained ankle ligaments as a result of the injury that he sustained against Exeter City on Boxing Day, and expects to be absent for around four to six weeks, targetting the end of January as the rough timeline for when he hopes to return.
Ryan will be heading back to the Liberty Stadium for most of January, where their Premier League facilities will hopefully speed up his physiotherapy, but will aim to return to Huish Park once he is given clearance by their medical staff to start running again. That will then hopefully allow him to reintegrate with the first team squad sometime around the end of January or start of February. Ryan is already on loan at Yeovil Town until the end of the 2016-17 season - at present there is no suggestion that the deal itself would be curtailed.
