Yeovil Town have given an interim update to a club survey that they ran concerning the matchday experience at Huish Park. The survey was run earlier this month between October 12th and October 19th in the wake of a record Football League low crowd that had been set during the previous month of 2,749, and with overall League gates having dropped by 18.4 percent against the previous season.
As yet, the club have not divulged any information concerning the themes they have obtained from those survey results, except to state that they had "over 550 responses" to their request, which was filled in via an online web form. The club have said that they are looking at 'solutions' to a number of areas identified by fans although stop short of saying what parts of the club or the overall matchday experience might need to be addressed:
"The results are continuing to be analysed and discussed amongst the Executive at the Football Club. Whilst the Club acknowledges the key areas marked for improvement in the survey, solutions and potential alternatives are still being looked into with changes and improvements to be announced shortly."
The club have also said that they plan to approach the Glovers Trust for their views, with the newly formed organisation having provided its own internal consultation with its membership just prior to the club's own survey, to help establish its own direction.
