8 July 2005 : Second Win Sees Off German Giants
Yeovil Town secured their second win in Germany tonight as they won 2-1 against a Bayer Leverkusen XI, although admittedly not the side they usually field in the Champions League!

Yeovil once again fielded two different line-ups for two different halves and the first half team went 1-0 up through Adam Lockwood. Yeovil's second half team did concede, although they won the match through a Lee Johnson penalty after new signing Matt Harrold was pushed in the back by a Leverkusen defender.

First Half: (4-4-2) Stephen Collis; Adam Lockwood, Efe Sodje, Scott Guyett, Colin Miles; Andy Lindegaard, Darren Way, Arron Davies, Stephen Reed; Eric Obinna, Phil Jevons.

Second Half: (4-4-2) Stephen Collis; Kevin Amankwaah, Luke Oliver, Terry Skiverton, Michael Rose; Kevin Gall, Paul Terry, Lee Johnson, Nathan Jones; Matt Harrold, Dale Williams.

There was no place for David Poole tonight, as he had a slight hamstring strain.

Attention now turns to Leichathletik Rasensport Ahlen, who the Glovers face on Sunday afternoon, with a 3.00pm kick-off (local time). The match is due to be played at LR Ahlen's main stadium.
