Yeovil Town Ladies are happy to announce what they hope will turn out be an annual ladies six-a-side football tournament, and they are now inviting teams to compete in the 2012 tournament which is taking place on Sunday 8th July 2012.
The tournament on the day will be organised and run by the Yeovil Town Ladies senior team, and the entry fee per competing team is £25. If you wish to enter the tournament please complete and return the attached forms specifying all required details. The closing date for entries is Friday 1st June 2012.
Please make cheques/postal orders payable to ‘Yeovil Town Ladies FC’.
There will be a cup and a plate competition to encourage maximum involvement, and the tournament will run in a league style with the top two teams going into the cup and the other teams into a plate competition. There will also be a fair play award and a player of the tournament chosen by the referees. There will be other events going on throughout the day including, ‘Tug of War’, ‘Sumo Suits’, ‘Skittles’ and much more. And of course, full refreshments, including a barbeque will be available throughout the event.
Please come along and join us. It should prove to be a great day, and of course a chance to enjoy some great football, and win some silverware.
