Yeovil Town captain Paul Huntington felt that his side had gifted League One leaders Charlton Athletic two goals during last night's 3-0 defeat at The Valley. The central defender felt that the Addicks didn't have to work for their win, having taken an early lead when a Dany N'Guessan cross-cum-shot went direct into the back of the net.
The Glovers then conceded a second crucial goal after the Glovers defence lost Charlton top scorer Bradley Wright-Phillips, who headed home following a well worked free kick. Huntington told BBC Somerset that he was willing to overlook the last minute goal by Darel Russell that finished the game off, but felt that the first two should have been cut out. The 24 year old believes though that the players should be able to pick themselves up for Saturday's home game against Hartlepool United:
"We've just got to move on and go again on Saturday. It's the next game isn't it? We're at home; we're in good form. Charlton are a good side, but what's disappointing from our side is that they didn't really have to work a lot for it. We kind of gifted them two goals at least. The last one came when the game was a bit stretched, but that's the disappointing bit of it. But I think we'll carry on with the way we've been playing at home. Don't forget that apart from tonight it's been a huge effort from a small squad."
