Yeovil Town manager Gary Johnson has said that he will be taking all three of his new signings up to Carlisle United for this weekend's League One match. The Glovers team bus left this morning towards Brunton Park, with Middlesbrough duo Jonathan Grounds and Jonathan Franks on board, as well as ex-Chelsea midfielder Michael Woods.
With the Glovers missing Kieran Agard through suspension, and Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Dean Parrett expected to be left at home whilst he recovers from a bruised knee, there are at least two changes necessary to the squad of sixteen players who will be selected for tomorrow's match. Whilst Johnson says that midfielder Dominic Blizzard may well be the player that gets the nod to replace Parrett in the starting eleven, he fully expects Grounds, Franks and Woods to be on his teamsheet:
"I wouldn't normally change a winning side, but Dean Parrett is out, we think. We're still waiting on a last minute shout from Tottenham and from Dean. But we've got Dominic Blizzard as well, who is looking to come into that midfield role. But they'll certainly be travelling. You don't want to be travelling all the way up there and not be in the squad, so I'll probably make sure that they're on the line at worst."
Despite being suspended for tomorrow's match, club captain Paul Huntington has indicated via his Twitter account this morning that he is travelling to Carlisle. Huntington took part in the team warm-ups during last weekend's home match against Colchester United before taking his place in the stand to watch the game, and so it would seem likely that he will repeat this at Brunton Park.
