League One side Leyton Orient have taken Southampton left-back Ryan Dickson on loan. With the 25 year old only having returned to St Mary's Stadium yesterday, the strong implication was that he was being lined up for a lengthy loan period with another club, and that has now been confirmed, with Russell Slade taking him on for the remainder of the 2011-12 season.
Glovers manager Gary Johnson is reported as planning to stick with the existing trio of left-backs Nathan Jones, Kelly Youga and Curtis Haynes-Brown for the immediate future, strongly dropping a hint to the Western Gazette today that it may be the youngest of the three that gets the nod for Saturday's game against Scunthorpe United.
With Yeovil now back up to five loan signings, following the arrival of Lawson D'Ath earlier today, there would be a big reluctance to bring in additional loan signings. Youga is not expected to be ready for this weekend's match, meaning that team selection for the visit of Scunthorpe is likely to be a toss-up between Haynes-Brown and Jones.
