Yeovil Town manager Gary Johnson has confirmed that first team coach Darren Way is now back at the club. The first team coach has been absent from Huish Park since the change of first team management, including the day of the press conference, and there had been minimal reference to his role at the club.
That had left some fans to raise concerns that the former midfielder had fallen victim to the management changeover, although Johnson had confirmed that Way was ill at the time. Speaking to BBC Somerset, Gary explained that his coach had returned to the club at the start of the week, and was now back in full action:
"He's been back for the last three or four days. It's great to have him back. As we've been telling people, there's been on problem other than he's not been well. But he's back and larger than life, and to have the little rotweiller back is a good thing, because he's Yeovil through-and-though, like the others."
