In the middle of March, Yeovil Town played host to Walsall in a bit of a six-pointer, with both teams in and around the relegation line. This was a scrappy and nervy encounter, with Jonathan Macken's opener cancelled out by a goal credited as an Andy Williams equaliser (although Saddlers captain Andy Butler appeared to be the one who actually put it in the net). The final score was a 1-1 draw - probably slightly more damaging for Walsall than it was for Yeovil.
As far as Man of the Match poll was concerned, the two naturally left-sided players came out on top, although Andy Welsh who came in second place, just ahead of Stephen Henderson spent most of his time on the opposite flank. A comfortable winner on the day though, was left-back Nathan Smith. Results are as shown below, with outright MOTM shown in brackets:
Nathan Smith 128 (9)
Andy Welsh 66 (3)
Stephen Henderson 58 (3)
Luke Ayling 46 (3)
Andrew Tutte 38 (2)
Oli Johnson 26 (2)
Adam Virgo 16 (0)
Ed Upson 10 (1)
Dean Bowditch 10
Andy Williams 6
