Yeovil Town have been drawn away in the First Round of the FA Cup. They will play Rushden and Diamonds at Nene Park on or around Saturday 6th November, after the draw was made this Sunday lunchtime.
The match against Rushden is an exact repeat of the 2006-07 First Round tie that saw the Conference National side triumph 3-1 in what was Yeovil Town's first defeat to non-league opposition since becoming a Football League side. An opener from Chris Hope and a Michael Rankine double sent Rushden through, with Yeovil's goal coming from Chris Cohen, as the Glovers were well beaten on the day.
