Four Yeovil Town players have been recognised by the national media for their performances in the 1-0 win over Walsall over the weekend just gone. With the Glovers keeping their first clean sheet since August, and only their second of the season, Bristol City's loan goalkeeper Stephen Henderson is included in the Football League's Team Of The Week for League One.
He is joined by left-back Nathan Smith who has been picking up a sizeable number of Man of the Match nominations from those voting on the Ciderspace website during September's and October's matches, as well as from the Matchday Sponsors at Huish Park.
The Football League's line-up is as follows:
Stephen Henderson (Yeovil Town)
Steve Tully (Exeter City) Danny Coles (Bristol Rovers) Magnus Okuonghae (Colchester United) Nathan Smith (Yeovil Town)
Marcus Tudgay (Sheffield Wednesday) Toumani Diagouraga (Brentford) Ryan Harley (Exeter City) Damian Scannell (Dagenham and Redbridge)
Rickie Lambert (Southampton) Craig Mackail-Smith (Peterborough United)
The League Paper also picked out two Yeovil Town players, chosing different ones for their Team of the Day yesterday. Centre-back and matchwinner Adam Virgo and Bristol City playmaker Gavin Williams landed in their chosen eleven.
Well done to all four players on their performances on Saturday.
