CS: Neale, a goalless draw. How do you assess your performance today?
NM: Well I think the game plan went how we wanted it to go. We knew in the first half the wind was in our face. We managed to control it and let them shoot from long distance. Then in the second half, towards the end of the game we created four or five good chances, and their keeper did very well. I think we deserved to win today actually, but okay it's been like that all the way through the last six weeks.
CS: One particular double save from Jake Gray - two shots and two saves. That was outstanding from their keeper, wasn't it?
NM: Absolutely. He did well. That was our game plan today. It went to plan, but we wanted to score goals though, but we didn't.
CS: Another draw. Since you took over, no wins. How disappointed are you to not to get that elusive win since you've taken over?
NM: Very much so, because we've been so close, especially with the home games against Crawley, Colchester and today. I thought we deserved to win those three games. But okay, that's part and parcel of when you're down near the bottom that those goals don't go in.
CS: What next for you, and what next for this football club?
NM: Let's let the dust settle down until Tuesday. We've got the day off on Monday anyway, and then hopefully we'll have some news from upstairs.
CS: I've got to ask you about the takeover. You've been very closely aligned with this takeover with Mark Palmer and Rob Couhig. Where do we stand, because it's been very quiet over these last few weeks?
NM: I'm not the person to be involved in all this information, so I haven't got any information at the moment. I'd love to give it to you, but I can't.
CS: Because you are closely aligned with that takeover, does your future here depend on that takeover, given that you were brought in and recommended by Mark Palmer?
NM: Absolutely, I think the whole group waits on that decision. Not only that but the players will be waiting on that as well. So we want to get a core together for next season, and a decision has got to be made on that quickly.
CS: You told me a few weeks previously that you would stay on as Sporting Director. You staying on depends on Mark Palmer and Rob Couhig's takeover being successful, otherwise there could be a completely different look to the coaching staff next year?
CS: So we're just waiting on that. You said that that hopefully on Tuesday there would be news. You do know some stuff that is going on. You can't tell us exactly, but do you hope this week that we'll have some news?
NM: I only know that they're negotiating and that's all there is. I don't have any information above that.
