Yeovil Town signed up Yoann Arquin on Thursday 2nd August 2018, following a trial that involved him playing in pre-season matches against Plymouth Argyle, Dorchester Town and Corby Town. He is a French-born player, who had previously been playing in Kazakhstan.
Born in Le Harve, he is a 6'2" forward that played for Nancy, Nantes and Paris St Germain's B Teams, as well as playing for fourth tier side Quimper Kerfeunteun and Paris-based Red Star 93. In the summer of 2011, he moved to England and signed for Hereford United, who at that time were in their final season in the Football League. When they were relegated, he moved to Notts County where he spent two years, making 65 appearances, scoring 13 goals.
Arquin then went north of the border in 2014, where he played for Ross County and St Mirren, before playing in Turkey for 1461 Trabzon and then Syrianska in Sweden. A return to England during the 2016-17 season saw him have a 14 game spell with Mansfield Town, before he went overseas again to sign for Kazakhstan Premier League club FC Kaisar.
Internationally, he's represented the country of Martinique - a French overseas territory - where he has gained 17 caps scoring four goals.
Yoann agreed a six month deal with Yeovil Town that will keep him on the club's books until January 2019.
