Name: Jack Storer
Date of Birth: 1 February 1998
Place of Birth: Birmingham
Jack arrived at Yeovil Town on December 30th 2016, in preparation for the opening of the January 2017 transfer window. He is a Birmingham City player and is under contract until the summer of 2018, after he scored seven goals in pre-season friendlies in the summer of 2016, four of which were with their first team squad.
In a slightly circular move, Jack is Birmingham born, and began his career with Birmingham City's youth academy before they rejected him at the age of 15 years old. After he left Birmingham he joined Wolverhampton Wanderers for a year but they stopped short of giving him scholarship. Instead Stevenage took him on for two years, giving him a scholarship and his Football League debut at the age of 17 and 229 days - the August 2015 appearance was to represent his only 11 minutes for Stevenage, but they gave him a professional contract.
By April 2016, Birmingham had performed a u-turn and had to pay money to take back the player that they had rejected three years previously. They paid Stevenage a five figure fee, in a deal that included a number of performance-related add-ons. Since then he has made three Championship appearances (all from the bench) and one EFL Cup appearance for the Blues, although not without drama attached to that.
In the August 2016 match against Wolverhampton Wanderers he came on as a 76th minute substitute but by the 83rd minute he had been sent off for showing violent conduct towards Wolves' Kortney Hause, having moved his head towards the player's face in what was deemed an act of aggression. When leaving the field, he definitely showed an act of aggression as he kicked the advertising hoarding, suffering a foot injury that put him out for a month! Since then he's only made one more substitute appearance, playing for their Under-23 side.
Jack has agreed a half-season loan deal with Yeovil Town that will keep him at Huish Park until the end of the 2016-17 season.
