Name: John Sullivan
Date of Birth: 8 March 1988
Place of Birth: Sompting, West Sussex
John Sullivan is a goalkeeper who signed for Yeovil Town on a one month loan deal on July 27th 2010 from Championship side Millwall. He is Millwall's third choice goalkeeper behind David Forde and ex-Glover Steve Mildenhall.
John's connection with the Glovers management team stems from his time as a Brighton and Hove Albion keeper. He was on their books as a professional for four years, and who joined the Seagulls at the age of 15. Although he was too young to play in the same team as them, his time in Sussex coincided with Glovers goalkeeping coach Ben Roberts and assistant manager Nathan Jones. He played in the same team as centre-back Adam Virgo whilst with the Seagulls.
Sullivan has also had loan spells with Burgess Hill and Hastings, where he was coached by Neville Southall. Since moving to the New Den in the summer of 2009, he has struggled to break past established No.1 keeper David Forde and the arrival of former Yeovil Town goalkeeper Steve Mildenhall in London is likely to restrict his chances further.
