Profile : Luke is a Dartford born player who can perform either as a striker or a left-winger. He is a former Charlton Athletic academy player who was on the books of Kent side Gillingham, and at that time became the youngest player to appear in the FA Cup, aged 15 years and 233 days, coming on as a substitute for his one and only game for the Gills.

He moved to Arsenal in January 2007 for a fee of around 100,000 and signed a two year professional contract with the Gunners at the tail end of the 2008-09 season and so has a full year to run on that deal. He has played for England Under 16s and Under 17s. He netted 17 times last season, mainly for Arsenal's academy sides.

Luke signed a six month loan deal with Yeovil Town on July 1st 2010, after manager Terry Skiverton spotted him playing for Arsenal Reserves alongside central defender Luke Ayling.
