Striker Dean Bowditch will have a scan tomorrow (Wednesday) to assess the seriousness of the shoulder injury he picked up in the opening match on Saturday versus Tranmere Rovers. Manager Terry Skiverton was cautious about the outcome, obviously hoping the scan would not reveal too much damage, though he expressed concern that an operation might be required. If it does come to that he felt Bowditch would then be likely to be out for two to three months.
Both for the wellbeing of Bowditch himself, and the interests of Yeovil Town, we obviously hope the scan shows less damage than is feared. Best of luck, Dean.
