Former Yeovil Town goalkeeper Josh Wagenaar looks set to play this season in the Scottish Premier League. Wagenaar has been on trial with Falkirk during pre-season and has featured in pre-season friendlies against Spartans, Royal Antwerp and Livingston and will now be signed up, pending a medical with the Bairns. He will be in competition with regular goalkeeper Robert Olejnik for a place in their side.
Despite training with Luton Town after he left Yeovil Town's training ground over the summer, former midfielder Paul Terry has signed a deal with Conference National side Grays Athletic. He won't be teaming up with another former Glovers midfielder Steve Browne who has been sacked by Grays along with manager Craig Edwards. Browne and Edwards had only been appointed over the summer and so never took charge of a competitive match. Chairman, eh?
Finally, with the season underway, a few old boys have been in the limelight at their new clubs. Striker Paul Warne came off the bench for Rotherham United and scored the winning goal in their 1-0 win over Accrington Stanley over the weekend, whilst former loan striker Scott Rendell netted Torquay United's opener in their 2-0 win over Chesterfield on the same day.
