Former Ipswich Town striker Dean Bowditch is set to sign for Yeovil Town. The former Ipswich Town player is due to have a medical at the club tonight and assuming that goes through, a contract will be put under his nose to sign. As yet no contract length has been specified.
Born in Bishop's Stortford on June 15th 1986, Dean is a free agent having been released by Ipswich Town over the summer. He made 72 appearances at Portman Road, scoring eight goals, although much of the hype about his time with the Tractor Boys came up front after he became the youngest Ipswich player to score a first team hat-trick, at the age of 17. A series of injuries saw his career stutter, and since then he has had a series of loan spells with Burnley, Wycombe Wanderers, Brighton and Hove Albion (twice), Northampton Town and Brentford.
Obviously, we'll confirm news on that as soon his signature is confirmed.
