BBC Sport have revealed their plans for the highlights programme covering the Football League, to be called 'The Football League Show'. It will follow 'Match of the Day' on a Saturday night and promises to showcase all the goals from the Coca-Cola Championship, League 1 and League 2 - something ITV signally failed to do on occasion.
To be presented by Manish Bhasin, the first show will begin on Saturday 8th August at 11.10 p.m. on BBC1. Joining Manish in the studio, with his unique brand of expert analysis and candid opinion on major talking points ability to talk utter rubbish, will be Steve Claridge, whose playing career included the highest level you know. Mark Clemmit from 5 Live will have the role of roving reporter.
