Yeovil Town manager Terry Skiverton has stated that summer signing Scott Murray will not be featuring in tonight's match against Derby County and is unlikely to appear on Saturday when the Glovers travel to play Dorchester Town. The winger is yet to make an appearance in pre-season, and speaking to BBC Somerset, Skiverton admitted that they were handling a knee injury Murray has with extreme caution:
"He's just got a bit of a sore knee at the moment so we're keeping him off the hard pitches. We're going to wait until it softens up a bit. He's not a million miles off. It's just something that is a little bit niggly and what we don't want to do is to turn it into a long term problem. We're putting him in cotton wool and the moment and we'll be releasing him hopefully halfway through next week. He trained a little bit (on Monday) and he didn't feel any ill effects, but we've got to be really gradual with him."
