It won't come as the greatest of surprises to find that Yeovil Town's home fixture against Leeds United has been made an ALL TICKET game. This match will take place on Tuesday 6th April 2010 at Huish Park with a 7.45p.m. kick-off Monday 5th April 2010 at Huish Park with a 12.30p.m. kick-off.
As with previous seasons, the club have put in place a series of hefty restrictions to minimise the chances of any visiting fans breaching ground regulations and buying tickets for home ends of the ground.
Restrictions put in place for this game, with respect to ticket sales, are as follows:
1. Tickets will be sold to supporters who are already on the Huish Park Ticket Office Database, and can demonstrate regular attendance at Huish Park. Those who can do so will be allowed to purchase up to four adult and four child tickets.
2. Supporters who are not on the database but reside in postcode districts DT, BA, BH, SP, EX, TA and BS will be allowed to buy up to two tickets for the Leeds United match, provided they also purchase at least one ticket for at least two further home matches at the same time.
3. It will not be possible to upgrade tickets at any later date.
Our general advice to those who are occasional visitors to Huish Park and therefore feel they may be borderline for vetting by the Ticket Office is to buy tickets as early as you can. Hence if you do have to make any alternative arrangements or provide further proof of identity or allegiance then you have plenty of time to do so. However, be patient with the Ticket Office staff if they baulk at selling you a ticket - the above rules are in place for a good reason!
Tickets for the whole of the 2009-10 season are now on sale from the Huish Park Ticket Office, and so if you are buying tickets for early matches, such as the three pre-season friendly games, or the Carling Cup match against Norwich City and you think you're not already on their database, now may be the right time to make sure you get yourself registered, so the club recognise you're visiting Huish Park for those matches.
Update: Article updated to reflect the new date and time for kick-off.
