Yeovil Town have announced that former goalkeeper Darren Behcet is on trial and back training with the club. Behcet was playing with AFC Hornchurch towards the end of last season, although did make a Reserve Team appearance back in February for the Glovers. Since leaving Yeovil 12 months ago he has also played for Bognor Regis Town, Sutton United and Grays Athletic, without really settling down at any of them.
Former Glovers midfielder Paul Terry is also training with the squad, although the way this is phrased suggests that he is just down in Somerset prior to this weekend's Testimonial Match. Paul is currently a free agent after being released by Leyton Orient at the end of last season.
Some very welcome news is that club captain Terrell Forbes was training today at the club, despite being out of contract at the club, giving some hope that he would rather remain in Somerset. The club also refer to transfer-listed midfielder Danny Schofield, suggesting that he "had been the subject of rumours linking him with a move back up North" - certainly the first we've heard of supposed direct interest in the former Huddersfield Town player, who still has a year left on his contract to run.
