26 June 2009 : Stefan Stam Signs For Glovers
Yeovil Town have signed former Oldham Athletic defender Stefan Stam. The 29 year old has penned a two year deal at Huish Park, thus keeping him at the club until the summer of 2011.

Stam's name has been linked with the club for around a month, since being released by Oldham at the end of the 2008-09 season. He had over four years at Boundary Park, although due to a succession of injuries only made 102 appearances. He has also been on the books of VV Grasshoppers, Alkmaar Zaanstreek, PSV Eindhoven and FC Eindhoven. Since leaving Boundary Park, he appears to have had a short spell with Cyprus side Ermis Aradippou, although is already heading back to England to return to League One football.

Stefan was born in Alkmaar, Netherlands on September 14th, 1979 and stands at 6'2" tall. The very best of luck to Stefan over the next two years and beyond.
