25 June 2009 : Murray Interest Confirmed As Schofield Looks To Leave
Yeovil Town could be hoping to swap one winger for another, after two pieces of possible player movement were confirmed this morning. The BBC Somerset sports bulletin confirms Tuesday's news that midfielder Danny Schofield has been transfer-listed by the club.

They have indicated that the move has been at Schofield's request, citing "home sickness" and an inability to settle in the area. They state that Glovers boss Terry Skiverton will only allow Schofield to leave if a suitable offer is received by the club.

The BBC also report that former Bristol City winger Scott Murray is now in contract talks at Huish Park, a month after he suggested he wanted a move to South Somerset. Skiverton has told the BBC that he would like to sign the Scotsman but has pointed out that he faces competition from other West Country clubs for his signature and therefore that matters have yet to be concluded.
