Saturday's League One match between Walsall and Yeovil Town will be looked after by referee Pat Miller (Bedfordshire).
We've seen Mr Miller a a number of times over the years, oddly with all of the matches being away from home. He took charge of the City Ground defeat in April 2006 and for a Leyton Orient fixture in November 2006. On that occasion Miller caused outrage both on the Yeovil Town bench and amongst the visiting fans when bottling a late decision as Arron Davies was taken out, running into the box. Following those two, he was back in the middle for the Johnstone's Paint Trophy at the Quarter-Final stage against Swansea City at the Liberty Stadium. On this occasion we failed to notice him.
Most recently, Mr Miller took charge of Yeovil's 1-0 triumph over Charlton Athletic in the Carling Cup. Despite us winning the match in a tremendous performance, we weren't quite so pleased with Mr Miller's definition of when a well-timed robust tackle becomes a reason to blow a whistle for an opposition free kick. Hey, but we're biased of course!
Mr Miller will be assisted by James Adcock (Nottinghamshire) and Tony Maton (Leicestershire). The Fourth Official will be Andy Hendley (West Midlands).
