A search around the Crystal Palace Official Site reveals that, as presumed by fans but not confirmed at the Huish Park end, James Dayton has indeed ended his loan spell and returned to the London based Championship outfit. Dayton played and scored in Palace Reserves 4-1 victory away to Ipswich Town Reserves on Wednesday.
While with the Glovers, Dayton made two starts: in the League Cup against Middlesbrough and the Football League Trophy against Brentford; and came off the bench twice in league fixtures, versus Milton Keynes Dons and Brighton & Hove Albion.
