As expected, Portsmouth goalkeeper Asmir Begovic's stay in South Somerset has now been confirmed, allowing him to spend 93 days at Huish Park under a loan agreement.
The Canadian-Bosnian has signed an emergency loan deal that will be converted into a long term loan agreement if Pompey can get another young Reserve keeper into Fratton Park before the transfer window closes on August 31st.
The Western Gazette website claims that the paperwork has now been completed and quotes manager Russell Slade as saying :
"I am delighted that we have been able to bring him (Begovic) in. We have two remarkably good keepers which is the first time since I have been at Yeovil that we have been able to say that."
