Ciderspace News Page : Morris Making Progress
9 July 2008 : Morris Making Progress
Following up our item Morris Not Giving Up Yet (26th May 2008), the news on Lee Morris from Pirelli Stadium seems promising so far for the ex-Glover, when his time in the game looked over for good on his departure from Huish Park.

Burton Albion manager Nigel Clough stated :

Lee did a bit more than he hoped he would in the first week of training. It was always intended that he would do things at his own pace but, without us pushing him, he's joined in everything so far. We step up the intesity a bit this week with a bit more (physical) contact stuff, but so far Lee is doing fine.

It is hoped that if Lee manages to prove his fitness at that level a contract will be on offer from the Conference Premier outfit.
