... former Yeovil Town midfielder Anthony Barry.
The League Two side have offered him a two year deal to move to the Deva Stadium along with Bradford City's Eddie Johnson. Both players are from the North-West and so Chester are hopeful that they can persuade them to sign on the dotted line.
Boss Simon Davies has told the Chester Chronicle:
"They both fit the description of how we want to play. They were two of the fittest lads at their clubs last season and that’s the way we want to go."
Chester owner Stephen Vaughan has added his own views:
"We’ve offered them both terms and it is the best we can put forward. Hopefully they’ll accept."
