This morning's Daily Star (stop laughing at the back) is claiming that fellow League One side Millwall are planning to give Glovers striker Lloyd Owusu a contract offer to try and lure him back to London.
Owusu is currently sat on a one year contract extension option with Yeovil that he has the right to sign after triggering a clause in his one year contract at Huish Park, having rather comfortably clocked up over 25 games last season. However, the nature of the option also gives him the right to walk on a free transfer.
The striker has something in the region of 10 further days to accept his contract option with the Glovers, however we are under the impression that the former Brentford player has also been touting his services amongst the London and Home Counties clubs. Whether this means he has struck gold, or whether the Star are just filling column space remains to be seen.
