As suggested earlier this week, Yeovil Town will be playing in a tournament as part of their pre-season friendly schedule.
This morning's Western Daily Press states that there will be a tournament taking place in North Devon between July 22nd and July 27th that will involve the Glovers.
The other significant teams are Crystal Palace, Hereford United and Kidderminster Harriers, whilst the hosts will be Toolstation League side Bideford and Carlsberg South Western League side Appledore.
The tournament will see the winners receive the Errea South West Challenge Cup and it is planned that there will be six games played at Bideford, with three taking place at Appledore. There will be eventually eight teams included in the competition, with other interested sides believed to include Torquay United, Eastleigh and Clevedon Town.
It's not entirely clear at this stage whether Bideford and Appledore are merely hosting the event or whether they are planning to participate in it. The final set of teams are planned to be announced on May 25th, including the order of play.
