This morning's BBC Somerset sports bulletin brings the news that striker Marcus Stewart has turned down an initial contract offer from the club, stating that the terms offered were insufficient. The BBC quotes Stewart (presumably via the WDP) as saying:

"What the club have offered me is disappointing and is not what I'm after."

The sports bulletin does describe it as a "first" contract offer. Whether Yeovil Town are prepared to negotiate any of the terms Stewart is unhappy with isn't stated either way.
