11 December 2003 : Reserves rout red-faced Robins
A Yeovil Town Reserves side made up of a mixture of first team squad members and youth team players kept up their challenge at the top of the Wales & West Division of the Pontins Holiday Combination League with a fine 5-1 win over Cheltenham Town Reserves at Huish Park last night.

The game was in some doubt at first with thick fog obscuring the view for spectators from the Main Stand, however the conditions improved to eventually clear completely as the game went on. Youth team centre-half Sean Smith opened the scoring for the Glovers on 24 minutes with a close-range header from a corner. The score remained 1-0 at half-time, but after the break the home side really went to town, The Robins second-string having no answer to Yeovil's pace, industry and inventiveness. Jake Edwards, Abdelhalim El Kholti with a brace, and Adam Stansfield notched Yeovil's goals; with Luke Corbett scoring the visitors consolation with 6 minutes left.

Final score: Yeovil Town Reserves 5 - 1 Cheltenham Town Reserves.
