BBC Bristol head of sport Geoff Twentyman tonight has stated that following a significant degree of feedback from both BBC Bristol and BBC Somerset listeners there has been a further change in policy regarding live commentary of Yeovil Town, Bristol Rovers and Bristol City.
The good news is that the radio station has pledged to cover every club's away game live on one or both frequencies. This will include the necessary frequency splitting in scenarios where more than one side is away from home at the same time.
This policy will continue until the end of the season, when the BBC plan to meet with the respective clubs to determine the best way forward.
