Ishmael Welsh, who spent the first part of the season on loan at Plainmoor, is off on his travels again. Jim Harvey has stepped into the loan market for the first time this season to secure the services of the wide man as Forest Green Rovers try to maintain their bid for a play-off spot in the Conference Premier.
The move has been financed by supporters at the New Lawn through the 'GRASS Appeal', which raises money specifically to fund additions to the squad. The initial deal is for one month, but with an option to extend the loan if it suits both clubs and the player.
Welsh has been allocated the No. 16 shirt and trained with his new colleagues this morning for the first time, ahead of tomorrow's fixture against Stafford Rangers, when he is expected to be in the squad.
