Yeovil Town manager Russell Slade has told this morning's Western Daily Press that the club are planning to open contact negotiations with four of their most experienced players.
The quartet of goalkeeper Steve Mildenhall, defenders Terry Skiverton and Matthew Rose, plus striker Marcus Stewart are all out of contact at the end of the season, but Russell has given the green light for Chief Executive Martyn Starnes to commence contract talks with the players. Russell explained that talks have already been held with Mildy, with the other three due to follow shortly:
"Martyn is already in dialogue with Mildy and will be with Stewie and Terry over the next few weeks. We will also talk to Rosey. They are the spine of the team. People have got to be realistic over these things, but hopefully it can be sorted out for the satisfaction of all parties."
