8 December 2003 : WE'RE IN THE MONEY!!!
The F.A. Cup Third Round tie between Yeovil Town and Liverpool will be broadcast live on BBC 1 on Sunday January 4 2004. The game at Huish Park will kick off at 1 p.m.

Fees payable for a Third Round F.A. Cup tie are 265,000, with the money deposited with the clubs within seven days of the broadcast.

Yeovil's record in live televised matches is excellent, with the club only ever having lost once - 2-1 away to Burton Albion - in a "dead" second leg of an F.A. Trophy Semi-Final, with The Glovers leading 4-0 from the first leg.
