Midfielder Justin Cochrane has left the club as a free agent after the Glovers decided not to extend his current short term deal.
The former Rotherham United man's contract ran out yesterday and despite the transfer window having closed, he is now free, as a free agent, to sign a permanent deal with another club.
Justin made 13 appearances for the Glovers, scoring two goals, and at one point looked like he was going to be a star of the side. But shortly after signing a short term contract with the club, he damaged ankle ligaments that put him out for six weeks during September and October, and thereafter he struggled to get into the side.
Rather ironically, his final appearance for the Glovers was only three days ago, when a glut of injuries, illness and suspension in midfield saw him make his first appearance for over two months, coming on as a substitute at Port Vale.
Ciderspace wishes Justin the best of luck in finding a new club.
