With Yeovil Town playing on Sunday at Doncaster Rovers the opportunity to support Sherborne Town in their FA Vase run presents itself this Saturday - and this time there is no clash with the Glovers. Last weekend's postponed FA Vase 3rd round home tie with AFC Lymington now takes place this Saturday (December 15th 3.00pm) at Raleigh Grove. Admission is £5.00 Adults, £2.50 Concessions, Under 16's and juniors free. The Programme is £1.00.
The winners face a home tie with Crowborough Athletic or Brimsdown Rovers in the fourth round. Ex-Yeovil Town player Kevin Leigh is Sherborne Town manager so come along and give the side your support and enjoy a nice afternoon out. The bar will be open all afternoon, and Sherborne Town will be presented with The FA Vase 2nd Round Team Of The Round award prior to kick off for the victory against Willand Rovers.
Sherborne Town Secretary Colin Goodland said "We would welcome all Yeovil Town supporters along this weekend, please come over and wear your colours, it would be a privilege to have your support, the more green and white the better. With so many connections between the two clubs and so many of our players having been through Yeovil Town's youth system we consider ourselves Yeovil's second team".
