Winger Lee Elam, currently with Halifax Town, has signed on a loan deal for a month. Elam has been trialing with Yeovil this week, and manager Gary Johnson spoke very warmly of what he had seen so far at last night's Meet the Manager Evening at Huish Park.
Today he said: Lee will go straight into my squad for Saturday's match [at Bury]. I feel I want a longer look at him and this loan deal suits both parties, as we are taking him with a view to a permanent deal. I just want to see a little bit more of him and this way I can do that. He's a good player and can play on either wing or behind the front two.
If Yeovil were to sign Elam on a permanent deal he would command a fee.
