Ciderspace News Page : Feedback From West Yorkshire Police
8 October 2007 : Feedback From West Yorkshire Police
The Avon and Somerset Police force have passed us the following message which has come from the Commander in charge of the Leeds United vs Yeovil Town match on Saturday. The West Yorkshire Police representative writes:

"I was commander for the inside of the ground and would like to pass on my compliments regarding the excellent behaviour of the Yeovil supporters. It was a real pleasure to welcome them to Leeds and meet with them. They were very polite, helpful and good humoured. There was just the one arrest - a middle aged man who was drunk and disorderly using foul language to a steward and, subsequently, 2 police officers."

A big well done to all (bar one) of you who travelled to Elland Road on Saturday, and created a terrific volume of support. Obviously, we hope that there is an investigation and appropriate action taken regarding the singular incident mentioned above.
