Further to Saturday's article concerning the 7-0 defeat for Yeovil Town's Under 18s at the hands of Swindon Town Under 18s, the following team lined up in Wiltshire for the opening match of their 2007-08 season:

Subs: 12. Steve Martin (47 mins for Damien Connery) 14. Omar Simpson (65 mins for Dan O'Brien) 15. J Flack 16. Lloyd Moyce (70 mins for Liam Horder).
As far as we can tell, five players in the starting line-up plus three more on the bench were making their debuts on the day for Stuart Housley's side, and realistically only five of the 15 players were regulars in last season's squad. Playing Swindon, who are usually one of the title challengers, away from home on the first day of the season was therefore perhaps not the best way to start proceedings.
